KR Architects began its story with Ar. KunjNileshRambhia in his 90’s who thrived on creating a sense of belonging. The architecture studio then started based on a very simple idea; if a building can feel like it organically and practically fit in the site, to an environment, a time and culture, the people that inhabit the building will likely feel a sense of belonging there as well. The methodology connects theories of beautification, economy and comfort.

Sometimes described as architect detectives, the studio finds new connections between materials, landscape, climate, history and culture. The projects are direct, spatial and firmly rooted in architectural theory. The firm reduces architecture to its very essence and most original form: alimited set of basic geometric rules is used to create a framework within which life unfolds out in all its complexity.
